Cardiologist – 2–3 Weeks/Month | Clinic + 24-Hour Call with Minimal Night Calls in West Virginia

Schedule

2–3 weeks of coverage per month
24-hour call coverage based on the call rotation
Monday–Friday clinic schedule
Clinic hours approximately 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
During hospital call weeks, clinic coverage includes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons with full clinic days Tuesday and Thursday
Minimal overnight callbacks
6-month locum tenens assignment with potential to extend

Assignment Details

Adult Cardiology, ages 18+
Approximately 22–24 patients per day
Evaluation and management of new and established cardiology patients
Cardiac risk assessments
Supported by RNs and technicians

Procedures & Skills

EKGs and EKG interpretation
Holter monitor placement
Pacemaker checks
Treadmill stress testing
Nuclear stress testing
TEE
Cardioversion

Requirements

Active West Virginia license or IMLC eligibility
DEA required
CSR required
Minimum 2 years of Cardiology experience
Experience with EKGs, TEE, and nuclear stress testing required
Clean professional background required
