Overview:
Cardiology coverage at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Ronceverte, WV — 2–3 weeks/month, 24-hour call with clinic, 6 months with option to extend.

Schedule & Coverage:
Facility Name: Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Profession & Specialty: Physician, Cardiology. Ideal Start Date: 11/2/2026, ASAP. Length of Need: 6 months with option to extend. Number of Positions Available: 1. Interview Process: Teams interview. Coverage Details: Coverage needed per month — 2–3 weeks. Frequency of Call: Dependent on how call schedule falls. Schedule Details: 24-hour call. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. When on hospital call they work in clinic on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1:00–4:00 PM. Tuesday and Thursday full day in clinic. Minimal night-time calls. Title: MD. On Call: Yes.

Work Details:
Support staff: Techs, RNs. Department Description: Evaluation and management of new/established patients, cardiac risk assessment, EKGs, holter monitor placements, pacemaker checks, supervision of EKGs, treadmill stress tests, and nuclear stress testing, TEEs, Cardioversions. Patient Volume: 22–24 patients per day. New = 30 minutes, established = 15 minutes. Patient Age Group: 18+. Special Procedures or Skills: EKGs, EKG reads, nuclear stress.

Requirements:
State License: WV. Specific Skills Required: EKG, TEE, nuclear stress tests. CSR Required: Y. DEA Required: Y. Minimum Experience Required: 2 years. Clean background.

Credentialing:
Emergency privileges available — clean background, IMLC accepted.
