Job description

Join an established cardiology team providing inpatient hospital coverage with a manageable call schedule. This ongoing opportunity offers a collaborative practice environment, Epic EMR, and travel accommodations for qualified providers.

Assignment Highlights
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months with ongoing potential
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM hospital service
Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM with a 1:4 call rotation
Seeking 1 full-time provider or 2 part-time providers to fill one full-time equivalent position
Travel and lodging provided
Practice Details
Hospital-based cardiology service
Join a team of 7 Cardiologists and 3 NP/PAs
Dedicated nursing support available on weekdays
Adult and geriatric patient population
Average of 10 admissions per day
Night call averages 2–7 calls per night
Responsibilities include inpatient hospital service and overnight call
EMR: Epic
Clinical Responsibilities
Inpatient cardiology management
ECG interpretation
Echocardiogram interpretation
Requirements
Board Certified in General Cardiology (ABIM)
Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease required
Active Wisconsin medical license required
Providers applying through the IMLC must have proof of license application submitted at the time of presentation
DEA required
BLS and ACLS required
Minimum 1–3 years of experience preferred
Credentialing
Estimated credentialing timeframe: Up to 60 days
