The facility operates a hospital-based laboratory that provides diagnostic pathology services in support of 5 total hospitals. The department maintains established protocols for specimen processing and diagnostic workflow management to facilitate coordinated and timely case handling. The pathology team includes 6 pathologists and 18 additional anatomical support staff members.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide laboratory coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call responsibilities associated with this assignment. Daily duties include grossing for 7.5 hours per day and slide review across a case volume of 100-120 total cases per day, encompassing cytology, breast, GI, and skin specimen types; GYN cases are not included in this assignment. Frozen section coverage is not required. Both part time and full time candidates are eligible for consideration.
