Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist needed in AZ!

Job description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist to provide ongoing scheduled coverage beginning 1/5/2026. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across inpatient and outpatient settings and performing phone consults related to frozen sections.

Schedule:

Schedule: TBD (ongoing scheduled coverage)

Coverage Type: On-site scheduled hours with periodic phone consults

Consults: Approximately 3 phone consults/week for frozen sections

Practice Details:

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

EMR: Cerner

Responsibilities:

Interpret anatomic and clinical pathology specimens

Respond to frozen section consults

Provide diagnostic support and collaborate with clinical teams

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Qualifications:

MD or DO with residency training in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology

Board Certified/Board Eligible (AP/CP)

Active or obtainable state medical license

Prior experience with Cerner is a plus
