Pathologist needed in California

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Pathologist for a locum opportunity in California. This role offers a steady case mix, autonomy in practice, and rare call requirements.

Highlights:

Predictable Schedule – Scheduled clinical hours with beeper call; 30-minute STEMI response time; 8-hour workdays.

Diverse Case Mix – 10–15 daily cases, primarily small GI biopsies, notable GYN pathology, and approximately one cancer case per week.

Independent but Supported – Solo practice with courier and consulting support from a sister hospital; tumor boards and breast pretreatment conferences available for CME.

EMR: Cerner

Call: Very rare after-hours, no weekend call

Requirements: Board Certified, Active CA License with CA Fluoroscopy License, BLS/ACLS/PALS

Credentialing: ~60 days
