The pathology department is supported by a team that includes a Pathologist Assistant, a Surgical Pathology Technician, and a Histology Supervisor to facilitate coordinated case processing. On-site locum tenens coverage is sought across three scheduled one-week periods spanning December, January, and February.

About the clinician's workday

Clinical responsibilities include surgical pathology sign-out, cytopathology, and blood bank case management, with a daily case volume of 25 cases. Grossing is required for this assignment; frozen sections are also required, though the locum clinician is not responsible for cutting frozen sections independently. No call coverage is associated with this assignment.
