New Pathology Locum Assignment in MD | M–F Schedule + Low-Volume Call

Job description

🗓️ Start Date: February 16, 2026
📆 Contract Length: 3–6 months
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, No Weekends!
📞 Call: Low volume — 1 week every 7 weeks

🏥 Practice Setting: Hospital
👥 Support Staff: Team of 6 Pathologists
🔬 Clinical Responsibilities:
• General Surgical Pathology sign-out
• Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE) for specimen adequacy & tissue allocation
• Non-gyn cytology
• Clinical pathology
• Participation in tumor boards, cancer conferences, hospital & lab committees
• Opportunity to practice digital pathology across sites
• System-wide call coverage (1 week every 7 weeks)

💻 EMR: Cerner
📜 Requirements:
• Board Certified
• MD License or IMLC only
• DEA & CSR Required
• BLS & ACLS
• GU subspecialty preferred but not required
