Pathologist Needed in Maryland

Pathologist Needed in MD:
Start Date: February 2026
Contract Length: 3-6 months with option for extension
Schedule: Monday – Friday plus call coverage 1 week every 7 weeks. Hours TBD
Work details:
- Support staff: 6 other docs
- Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-time coverage needed
- EMR: Cerner
- Skills required: Clinical responsibilities include general surgical pathology sign out, rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) procedures for specimen adequacy and tissue allocation, non-gyn cytology, clinical pathology, and participation in cancer conferences, tumor boards, hospital and lab committees at our acute care hospitals. Opportunity to practice digital pathology. Participation in on-call coverage across the system hospitals is required, call is for a week at a time, every seven weeks.

MD License Required (We can help license you)
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
