About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide inpatient anatomic and clinical pathology coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with night call and weekend call required. Clinical responsibilities include surgical pathology sign-out, cytopathology sign-out, frozen section analysis, Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE) of cytology specimens, and Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) case review and interpretation. Annual case volumes include approximately 9,800 surgical pathology cases, 1,375 cytopathology cases, 544 FNA cases, and 294 frozen sections. Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
