🔍 Locum Pathologist (AP/CP) – Ohio – ASAP Start – 3 Month Assignment
Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist (AP/CP) for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio to provide maternity leave coverage. Temp privileges are available for physicians with clean backgrounds.
📌 Position Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Approx. 3 months
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call: 1 week/month (clinical only – no hospital presence required)
🔬 Scope of Work:
Mix of Cytology and Head & Neck pathology cases
FNA adequacy assessments and Frozen Sections required
13,000–15,000 annual case volume
Onsite support: Lab Techs, Anatomic Pathology Technologist, and Pathologist Assistant
Centralized lab processing for 3 area hospitals
Patient population: Mostly adult, with some pediatric specimens (e.g., tonsillectomies)
EMR: EPIC
✅ Requirements:
AP/CP Board Certification required (No Board Eligibility)
Ohio medical license required (temp privileges available)
Minimum 3 years of experience
Non-GYN Cytology experience preferred
No DEA needed
