Pathologist needed in Chillicothe OT

Reason for need: Maternity leave
Schedule:
• M-F 8a-5pm
Call is 1 week per month (7 days), is clinical call only meaning they do not have to go into the hospital
Call is optional
Open to part time if needed
Work Details:
• Supports community labs throughout Adena Heal
• Lots of Cytology, head and neck, more details to come
3 hospitals come to Chillicothe location for processing.
• Support staff: there are lab techs processing the specimens, there is an Anatomic Pathology Technologist on sight as well as a Pathologist Assistant
• Patient population/age: 18+ will include tonsillectomy so specimens will be from all ages
Facility details
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size: Not really pertinent
• FNA procedures for adequacies, Frozen Section services also required
• 13,000 – 15,000 cases annually, typically 2 pathologists on service -at least 1 on site, and another may read remotely – the locum will need to be on site
Can do emergency creds for a fast start
