Specialty: Pathology (AP/CP)

Start Date: 03/02/2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
Day shift only; no evening, weekend, or autopsy coverage
On-call optional

Practice Setting: Hospital / Community Lab

Work Details:
• Supports community labs across the Adena Health system
• Specimens from 3 hospitals processed at Chillicothe location
• Annual volume: 13,000–15,000 cases
• On-site coverage required (remote not an option)
• Grossing biopsies and moderately complex resections
• May assist with highly complex resections
• Frozen sections and FNA adequacy assessments required
• Some Non-GYN Cytology sign-out (board verified preferred, not required)
• Patient population includes all ages (18+ with tonsillectomy specimens)
• Support staff includes lab techs, Anatomic Pathology Technologist, and Pathologist Assistant

EMR: EPIC

Requirements:
• Board Certification: AP/CP Board Certified ONLY (no BE)
• State License: Required
• DEA: Not required

Credentialing:
60–90 days
