📋 Contract Details
🔹 Specialty: Pathology (MD/DO)
🔹 Anticipated Start Date: October 2026
🔹 Schedule: Monday–Friday
🔹 Shift: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM (8-hour days)
🔹 Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical coverage only
🔹 Call: No call, no evenings, no weekends, no autopsy responsibilities
🔹 Assignment Length: 26 weeks
🔹 Practice Setting: Acute Care Hospital
🔹 Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
🔹 Travel: All travel expenses are billable

🏥 Site Details & Clinical Scope
🔹 Comprehensive Cancer Center with an active bone marrow transplantation program and high-volume hematopathology practice
🔹 Annual Volume: Approximately 13,000–15,000 pathology cases
🔹 On-site coverage required
🔹 EMR: Epic
🔹 Support Staff: Laboratory technologists, Anatomic Pathology Technologist, Pathologist Assistant
🔹 Diagnostic Services: Bone marrow, lymph node, coagulation, flow cytometry, frozen sections, FNA adequacy evaluations, non-GYN cytology sign-out
🔹 Clinical Scope: Hematopathology, benign surgical pathology, colon cancer resections, native liver specimens, tissue procurement for research, POC tissue selection for karyotyping, biopsy grossing as needed
🔹 Patient Population: Primarily adults (18+), with occasional specimens from all age groups

📋 Candidate Requirements
🔹 Board Certification: Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP) Board Certified required (No Board Eligible candidates)
🔹 Fellowship training and diagnostic experience in Hematopathology required
🔹 Ohio medical license required (willing to license)
🔹 Minimum of 2 years of experience required
🔹 Grossing experience required
🔹 Some non-GYN cytology sign-out experience required
🔹 DEA: Not required
🔹 Teaching hospital experience preferred
