Job description
The Blueprint:
- The Routine: 100% onsite coverage working alongside a second pathologist on service.
- The Case Volume: Part of a dynamic environment managing 13,000 to 15,000 cases annually.
- Scope of Practice: Participation in bone marrow, lymph node, fluid coagulation, and flow cytometry diagnostic services. Responsibilities also include frozen section services, fine-needle aspiration (FNA) procedures for adequacies, and non-GYN cytology sign-out.
- The Team & Infrastructure: Excellent workflow backup including processing lab technicians, an onsite Anatomic Pathology Technologist, and a Pathologist Assistant.
Logistics & Requirements:
- Timeline: Onboarding and credentialing take roughly 60 to 90 days.
- Board Certification: Strict requirement for dual Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP) Board Certification.
- Clinical Background: True training in Hematopathology with a minimum of 2 years of active practice experience.
- Licensing: Active state license required before start. Licensing is an option!
