Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Opportunity
Assignment Dates:
November 16 at 7:00 a.m. through November 22 at 7:00 a.m.
December 7 at 7:00 a.m. through December 13 at 7:00 a.m.
Additional Details:
• Adult patient population
• Hospital based pathology practice
• Approximately 18,000 surgical cases and 4,000 cytology cases annually
• Support from a pathology assistant and pathology team
• Cerner and Voicebrook Dictation System
• Skills needed include GI, fluids, lymphoma, gynecologic pathology, breast, lung, histotechnology, radiology and endoscopic FNA
• Pathology assistant performs grossing while the pathologist performs frozen sections
• Immunohistochemistry is performed in house
• No current bone marrow responsibilities
Requirements:
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Pathology
• Fellowship training required
• One to two years of experience preferred
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• DEA and CSR are not required
• One or two phone interviews may be requested with the Medical Director and or Pathology Team
• Virtual slide review required with the Medical Director or Pathologists
• Confirmation typically occurs within one to two days after the virtual slide review
• Credentialing typically takes three to four weeks once accepted, assuming documents are completed promptly
