Locum Tenens Pathologist (AP/CP Certified) – Texas

Schedule

On-Site Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Call Coverage:

Weeknights: Monday – Friday, 5:00 PM – 7:30 AM (must be within 30 minutes of the facility)

Weekends: 24-hour call available while on assignment

Workload & Practice Setting

Coverage Needed: 3 FTEs per month

Daily Volume: 45–55 cases (split between 3 pathologists)

Case Mix Includes:

Breast, colon, derm, GYN, lung, stomach, prostate, thyroid

Frozen sections, FNAs, and general surgical pathology

Patient Population: All ages

Support: Phone call access to sub-specialty pathologists for consults

Department: Pathology

Requirements

Board Certification: AP/CP (Required)

License: Active Texas Medical License

Experience: 1–2+ years in a busy hospital setting

Certifications: AP/CP Board Certified

DEA/CSR: Required
