Specialty: Anatomic/Clinical Pathology – MD/DO
Start Date: November 16
Contract Length: Nov 16 - Dec 13
Schedule: ny one week in November and any 1-2 weeks in December
November 16th starting at 7am to November 22nd ending at 7:00am
December 7th starting at 7am to December 13th ending at 7:00am
Work Details:
• Support staff: Yes; assistant & Pathology Team
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 5 x 8
• Patients per day: 18,000 surgical cases per year / 4,000 cytology cases per year
• Patient population/age: Adult
• Department description: Pathology
• EMR: Cerner / Voicebrook Dictation System
• Hospital bed size: 272
• Skills required: GI, fluids, lymphoma, GYN (Anatomic), breast, lung /histotech, radiology and endo performs FNA / no bone marrow currently
Pathology assistant does grossing and Pathologist does Frozen Sections
Immunohistochemistry done in-house
