Locum tenens CAA coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

The state is home to notable destinations including the country's first undersea park, where visitors may explore living coral reefs through snorkeling or scuba diving, as well as the Everglades, accessible via airboat tours, and Biscayne Bay. The Orlando Wetlands, recognized as the largest man-made wetlands in the country, provides opportunities for wildlife observation, particularly birdwatching, among the many year-round activities available throughout the state.

About the clinician's workday

The CAA will provide anesthesia services under a medical direction model during day shifts at an operating room facility in Florida. Clinicians will work 10-hour and 12-hour shifts with a preferred 4x10 schedule, covering 40-50 hours per week with Monday and Friday attendance required and no overtime. The surgical case mix includes plastics, ENT, general surgery, bread and butter, and some thoracic procedures; pediatric and cardiac cases are not included in this assignment. No call coverage is required, and board certification is required for all clinicians in this role.
