Job description

Anesthesia Assistant – Muncie, IN (Level III Trauma Center)

Start Date: July 27, 2026
Contract Length: 6 months with ongoing potential
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (12-hour shifts may be required)

Position Details
Coverage: Equivalent to 1 FTE
Patient Volume: 4–6 patients per day (varies by department)
Patient Population: Adult / Medicare population
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
Department Overview

Responsibilities include a mix of cases across:

Endoscopy & ERCP
OB/GYN
ENT
Plastics
Urology
Orthopedics
Trauma
NORA (Non-Operating Room Anesthesia)
General cases

EMR: Cerner
Facility: Level III Trauma Center

Travel & Logistics
Travel and lodging covered
Requirements
Eligible for Indiana state licensure (facility will assist with licensing)
Graduate of a Master’s-level anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
Credentialing
Estimated timeframe: 90–120 days
