Job description

Overview:
Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant locums opportunity in a Level 1 trauma center in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a full-time assignment with a broad case mix and no call responsibilities.
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday
• 10–13 hour shifts
• Mix of day and night shifts (7a–8p, 7p–7a)
• Start date: June 2026
Practice Setting:
• Acute care hospital
• Level 1 trauma center
• Supervised model (typically 1:2, up to 1:4)
• Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Case Mix:
• Endoscopy and ERCP
• GYN and ENT
• Dental and plastics
• Urology and orthopedics
• Trauma
• Neuro and spine
• NORA cases
Requirements:
• Graduate of accredited Master’s level anesthesia program
• Trauma experience required
• Active license preferred
• Open to licensing
Additional Info:
• EMR: Epic
• All patient populations including pediatrics
• Travel and lodging provided
• Credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days
