Locum CRNA – Ketchikan, AK

Compensation

• $250/hr regular rate
• Overtime: 1.3× ($325/hr)
• Holiday: 1.5× ($375/hr)
• Night Call: $500/hr
• 24-Hour Call: $1,800

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Evening and weekend call required
• Current call schedule is approximately 2 on/2 off, depending on provider availability

Assignment

• 6-month assignment
• 1.0 FTE
• Coverage needed due to a staffing gap
• Inpatient setting
• 25-bed hospital
• EPIC EMR
• Approximately 5–15 patient contacts per day
• Patient population: All ages

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Alaska license in hand at the time of submission
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Clinical case logs from the past 24 months demonstrating required procedural experience
• EPIC proficiency
• Recent experience with a broad range of anesthesia procedures
• Comfortable providing anesthesia services to all age groups, including pediatric and obstetric patients
• Available for scheduled shifts and on-call coverage, including nights and weekends

• Pediatric dental, ENT, and orthopedic cases
• Labor epidurals

Practice Environment

• Provider will not work solo
• Collaborative support from General Surgery, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Hospitalist, and Emergency Medicine physicians
• Responsibilities include admissions in addition to scheduled anesthesia coverage
