WHAT YOUR DAY ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
You'll work a regular weekday schedule in a smaller Critical Access environment where CRNAs need to be clinically versatile. Expect General and Orthopedic anesthesia alongside regional blocks, OB and pediatric coverage. Evening and weekend call is also part of the assignment, so providers should be comfortable managing a broad range of anesthesia needs in a smaller hospital setting.
🎯 Best Fit
Experienced CRNA with recent full-scope clinical experience, particularly regional blocks, OB, pediatric anesthesia and general cases. Best suited for someone comfortable with the broader responsibilities of a Critical Access environment and who already has an active Alaska license.
📍 Geographic Hook
Ketchikan offers a unique Southeast Alaska assignment for a CRNA looking to turn a locums contract into a genuine change of scenery. With travel and housing covered, the defined three-month block makes Alaska considerably easier to consider without requiring a permanent relocation.
- Monday–Friday 5×8 daytime schedule
