Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Location: Kaiser Permanente – Vacaville & Vallejo, California Position Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Dates: ASAP – 3 Months (with option to extend) Vaccination Requirement: Preferred – will consider waivers Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 60 days from application submission EMR: EPIC (Health Connect – Kaiser’s version) Compensation: $220-$240

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a locum tenens CRNA to provide anesthesia coverage across its hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings in Vacaville and Vallejo, CA. This is a full-time weekday role with no call responsibilities, ideal for experienced CRNAs seeking a stable, high-volume assignment in Northern California.

🧪 Clinical Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia for adult surgical cases including:
General, Orthopedic, Urology, GYN, Gastroenterology
Head & Neck, Thoracic, Neuro, ENT
OB (experience highly preferred but not required)
No cardiac cases or expected pediatric patients
Pre-op assessments and post-op recovery evaluations
Work under a 1:3 MD supervision model
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
🗓 Schedule & Setting

Shifts: Monday–Friday only
Structure: 4x10-hour shifts weekly
OB Shifts: 12-hour shifts (if applicable)
Flexibility: Schedule may be adjusted based on provider needs
Call: None required
Setting: Hospital & Ambulatory Surgery Center
PPD/Census: Variable depending on room assignment
✅ Candidate Requirements

Board Certified CRNA
Active California license – licensing candidates not accepted
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred but not mandatory)
Clean malpractice history preferred
OB experience preferred (not required)
Must be available for full-time coverage and credentialing
