A dedicated pediatric ambulatory surgery center is seeking a CRNA for a short-term locum tenens assignment focused exclusively on pediatric dental anesthesia. This is a highly efficient, CRNA-only practice environment offering steady daytime hours, strong clinical support, and a consistent pediatric case mix.
Position Highlights
Short-term locum assignment (one week coverage)
Monday–Friday daytime schedule (no call, no weekends)
CRNA-only model with independent practice environment

Clinical Focus
This assignment is centered on pediatric dental anesthesia, including:
General anesthesia for dental procedures
Nasal intubation
Mask induction techniques
Pediatric airway management
Practice Environment
Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in pediatric dentistry
3 procedure rooms with efficient case flow
Average of 5–6 cases per day
Strong nursing support for pre-op IV placement and post-op recovery
Fast-paced, efficiency-driven workflow
Patient Population
Pediatric patients (approximately ages 2–17)
Healthy outpatient pediatric surgical cases
Ideal Candidate
NBCRNA certification required
Active California license required
ACLS and PALS required
Minimum 1 year pediatric anesthesia experience required
Strong airway management skills, including nasal intubation
Comfortable working independently in a CRNA-only model
