# CRNA Locum Tenens Opportunity – Southern California
A Level I Trauma Center in Southern California is seeking experienced CRNAs for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for providers who thrive in a high-acuity academic environment and are comfortable caring for complex trauma patients.
### Assignment Details
* Start Date: July 2026
* Ongoing assignment
* 12-hour shifts only
* Flexible start times: 6:30 AM, 9:30 AM, or 11:30 AM
* Locums are scheduled based on submitted availability
* Weekend coverage required:
* Full-time providers: 3 weekend shifts per month
* Per diem providers: 2 weekend shifts per month
* No call responsibilities
### Practice Setting
* Acute Care Hospital
* Level I Trauma Center
* Academic teaching environment with resident involvement
* Medical Direction model
* Epic EMR
### Clinical Details
* General anesthesia cases including:
* Orthopedics
* Gynecology
* General Surgery
* No OB, pediatric, or cardiac cases
* High-acuity patient population with significant comorbidities
* Frequent trauma cases, particularly on weekends
### Support Team
* Faculty anesthesiologists supervising up to three CRNAs
* Resident support within a teaching hospital environment
### Requirements
* Active California CRNA license required
* Board Certification required
* Epic experience required
* Recent Trauma Level I or extensive Trauma Level II experience required
* Experience working in high-acuity hospital environments strongly preferred
* COVID vaccination required
### Credentialing
* Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30–45 days
