Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing outpatient locum tenens opportunity in Eureka, California. This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule in a surgery center environment with no call responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is a clinically strong CRNA with an active California license, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide safe, patient-centered anesthesia care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Job Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia for outpatient surgical procedures
Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations
Develop individualized anesthesia care plans
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Manage airway and patient safety throughout the perioperative period
Provide post-anesthesia assessments and documentation
Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative personnel
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR
Follow facility protocols and evidence-based anesthesia practices

Working Hours
Monday – Friday
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
One-hour lunch break
Guaranteed 8-hour shifts
No weekends required
No call responsibilities

Qualifications
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Active California CRNA license
Board Certified
Active DEA registration
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Eligible for facility credentialing
Strong outpatient anesthesia experience preferred
Excellent clinical judgment and teamwork skills
