Locum CRNA - Connecticut

Providers must live outside the state of Connecticut to qualify for this opportunity.

Contract Length: 6-month minimum
Practice Setting: Hospital
Schedule: Full-time, 36–40 hours per week
EMR: Epic
Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CRNA for a full-time locum tenens assignment supporting a large, growing health system in Connecticut.

The assignment requires a minimum 6-month commitment; 3-month assignments will not be accepted.
Local candidates will not be considered. Candidates must reside out of state.

Schedule
Monday–Friday schedule
Three 12-hour shifts per week
Friday availability is required
Full-time availability of 36–40 hours every week
Ability to pick up occasional weekend shifts when staffing needs arise
No call required
No flexible scheduling
Part-time candidates will not be considered
Clinical Workload
Approximately 10–12 patients per day
High-acuity patient population
Level I Trauma Center
Hospital-based practice
Providers must be comfortable floating between both assigned hospital locations
Required Case Experience
The CRNA must be comfortable independently managing high-acuity cases across all of the following specialties:

General surgery
Orthopedics
Cardiovascular
Neurosurgery
Gastroenterology
Urology
Gynecology
Ophthalmology
Healthy pediatrics
ENT
Experience with high-acuity patients is required.

Requirements
Board Certification: Required
State License: Will consider candidates who are not currently licensed
DEA: Required
Demonstrated experience managing high-acuity patients
Must be available for the required full-time schedule
Must be willing to commit to a minimum of 6 months
Must be willing to work Fridays
Must reside out of state
