Full-Time CRNA Opportunity – Level II Trauma | 6–12 Month Locum Assignment | Diverse Case Mix + Flexible Shifts

Job description

We are seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an exciting locum tenens opportunity at a Level II Trauma Center. This facility offers a wide range of surgical specialties in a high-acuity environment. Candidates must be comfortable with a mix of shifts and a collaborative supervision model. Only full-time locums (40 hours/week) will be considered.

Start Date: January 5, 2026
Contract Length: 6 to 12 months (continuous coverage preferred)
Shift Details:

40 hours/week guaranteed

Mixed shift types: 8s, 10s, 12s, with occasional 16-24hr shifts

Schedule provided in 6-week blocks

Call required: 1 weekend and 2 weeknights per month (option to work a Sat/Sun regular shift every 3 months to replace a call)

Facility Details:

Hospital Size: 378 beds

ORs: 17 Main ORs, 7 Day Surgery Center, plus specials, cath labs, endoscopy, and radiology

Supervision Model: Supervision-based, max 4:1 ratio

Patient Population: Adolescents to geriatrics (90%+ age 12+)

Case Types:
General surgery, ortho (including spine), neuro (crani), plastics, healthy peds, GI, eye, EP, structural heart, interventional radiology, lungs, and MRI.
No OB, transplants, open hearts, burns, or sick peds.

Skills Required:

Must be comfortable with Level II trauma cases

Spinal blocks performed

Arterial lines optional

No epidurals, central lines, or regional blocks
