Position Overview
Specialty: CRNA

Contract length: 6 months to 1 year preferred

Continuous full‑time coverage required

No local candidates (50‑mile radius rule)

Full‑time only; no block scheduling

Schedule & Shifts
Guaranteed 40 hours of scheduled work per week

Shifts vary weekly and include 8‑, 10‑, and 12‑hour shifts

Facility also requires coverage for one 24‑hour shift and one 16‑hour shift per week

Call required:

1 weekend call shift per month

2 weeknight call shifts per month

Schedules released in 6‑week blocks

Overtime paid after 40 hours

Clinical Environment
Hospital setting

Supervision‑based anesthesia model (maximum 4:1 ratio)

17 main ORs, 7 day‑surgery ORs, plus specials, cath labs, endoscopy, and radiology

EMR: EPIC

Hospital size: 378 beds

Patient population: adolescent through geriatric (90%+ over age 12)

Must be comfortable with Level II Trauma

CRNAs perform spinal blocks

No epidurals, no central lines, and no independent regional anesthesia

Occasional opportunity to place arterial lines (not required)

No burns, transplants, open heart, sick peds, or OB

Requirements
Board‑certified CRNA

DEA required

CSR required

Open to licensing

Minimum experience: 1 year (will consider 6 months)

Scrubs provided by the department

Name clear required: name, license status, and NPI

Credentialing
30–45 days if already licensed
