Location: Boise, Idaho, with occasional coverage in nearby Nampa
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
EMR: EPIC

Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified CRNA for a 6-month full-time locum tenens assignment. The majority of the work will be performed at the Boise location, with occasional coverage at a nearby Nampa location.

This facility is seeking candidates who are able to commit to the full schedule and call requirements. No block scheduling is available.

Schedule & Call Requirements
40 scheduled hours per week
Shifts will vary from week to week and may include:
8-hour shifts
10-hour shifts
12-hour shifts
24-hour + 16-hour shifts per week
No block scheduling
Schedule provided approximately 6 weeks in advance

Call is required:
1 weekend call shift per month
2 weeknight call shifts per month
Full-time locums coverage only
Candidates must be willing to work all required shifts

Facility & Department
Hospital bed size: 378 beds
Operating Rooms:
17 Main Operating Rooms (MOR)
7 Day Surgery Center (DSC) rooms
Additional specials, cath labs, endoscopy, and radiology
CRNAs provide supervision-based anesthesia
Level II Trauma facility
Approximately 90%+ of the patient population is over age 12
Patient Population

CRNAs will care for:
Adolescents
Children
Adults
Geriatric patients

Required Clinical Skills
Experience with a broad range of anesthesia cases is required, including:
Gynecology
General surgery
Orthopedics
Spine
Craniotomy/neurosurgery
Plastics
Lung procedures
Healthy pediatric patients
Ophthalmology
GI
Structural heart
Electrophysiology (EP)
Endoscopy
Interventional radiology
MRI
Level II Trauma cases
Cases Not Required
The facility does not perform or require experience with:

Burns
Transplants
Open-heart surgery
Sick pediatric patients
OB
Procedures & Anesthesia Skills
CRNAs will not independently perform regional anesthesia/nerve blocks
Spinal blocks are performed by CRNAs
Occasional opportunity to perform arterial lines, but this is not required
CRNAs will not perform epidurals or central lines

Requirements
Board Certification: Required
Minimum Experience: 1 year preferred; candidates with 6 months of experience may be considered
State License: Open to candidates requiring licensing
DEA: Required
CSR: Required
Must be comfortable working in a Level II Trauma environment
Must be willing to work the complete schedule and required call
Must be available to work the Christmas holiday

Credentialing & Licensing
Licensed candidates: Approximately 30–45 days for credentialing
Candidates requiring a new/pending license: Approximately 90–120 days
