CRNA Locums Opportunity – Level I Trauma | Illinois | No Call

Join a high-acuity, well-supported anesthesia team at a leading acute care hospital in Springfield, IL. This is a fantastic opportunity for CRNAs looking for consistent weekday coverage, diverse case mix, and a collaborative care team environment.

Position Highlights
Start Date: June 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8s (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)
No call required
Contract Length: 3 months with option to extend
Flexible coverage: Full-time preferred or 2+ weeks/month
Practice Setting
Level I Trauma Center
Anesthesia Care Team model
Mix of inpatient (23 ORs), outpatient (6 ORs), and GI unit (4 ORs)
Daily case volume: 55–60 cases
Average census: 35–40 patients
EMR: Cerner
Case Mix

Providers will see a wide variety of cases including:

General surgery, trauma, ortho, GYN, robotics, plastics, ENT
GI procedures (screenings, ERCPs, bronchoscopies, etc.)
Outpatient cases including healthy pediatrics

Note: No cardiac, thoracic, or vascular cases required

Requirements
Active Illinois CRNA license (required – no licensing available)
BLS or ACLS certification
DEA required
Minimum 1 year of experience
Comfortable with a broad, high-acuity case mix
