Position Overview:
A Level II Trauma Center in McHenry, Illinois is seeking an experienced CRNA for a 1099 assignment. Located approximately one hour from Chicago, this community hospital offers a diverse and complex case mix within a highly collaborative anesthesia care team.

Assignment Highlights:
• 4x10 schedule
• Two weeks per month coverage
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Level II Trauma Center
• Complex cases without cardiac or OB epidurals
• Strong anesthesiologist support model

Schedule:
• 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Coverage needed two weeks per month
• Monday–Friday shifts

Practice Setting:
• Hospital-based
• Level II Trauma Community Hospital
• Suburban/rural community approximately one hour from Chicago

Work Details:
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• Medical Direction Model
• Support Staff:

9–11 anesthesiologists per shift
Dedicated anesthesia technicians on staff

Case Mix Includes:
• Neuro
• Vascular
• Thoracic
• General Surgery
• Gynecology
• Urology
• Interventional GI
• Cardiology Testing / Electrophysiology
• Regional Blocks

Additional Clinical Notes:
• CRNAs are generally not assigned to cardiac cases
• No OB epidurals
• Healthy pediatric cases are rare and typically transferred to a sister hospital
• OB program is located at a sister facility

Requirements:
• Epic experience required

Credentialing Timeframe:
• Approximately 90–120 days
