LOCATION: Effingham, Illinois 62401
SPECIALTY: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
TARGET RATE: $200/hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a 12-week supplemental assignment at a community hospital in Effingham, Illinois.

The facility provides a variety of bread-and-butter anesthesia services, including General, Orthopedic, OB, and Pediatric cases.

Orthopedics

Obstetrics (OB)

Pediatrics

Pediatric Cases Include:

Healthy children undergoing BMT (bilateral myringotomy tubes) and tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy (T&A).

Occasional appendectomies.

No trauma cases.

SCHEDULE

10-hour shifts

4 days per week

Regular hours required

Scheduled Hours: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

No in-house call

No weeknight pager call

No weekend pager call

Overtime not expected but may be offered.

COMPENSATION & TRAVEL

Rate: $200/hour

Lodging/Housing Stipend

Car Rental/Mileage Stipend

EMR: Epic

Physician supervision: Yes

CRNA-to-MD ratio: 3:1

Physicians do not perform their own cases.

REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.

Current CRNA certification.

Current RN license.

Candidates needing to obtain an Illinois state license may be considered.

CREDENTIALING

Estimated privileging timeframe: 90 days.

ASSIGNMENT DURATION: 12 weeks
