Location: Liberal, KS

Start: May

13-week assignment with the option to extend


Scheduling model:

DAYS (M-F): 7a-3p plus remote call coverage 3p-7a (1st & backup (2nd) call rotation)

WEEKEND 24 hr CALL (Sat & Sun): 7a-7a

Remote backup call coverage 7 days/wk. (same hours as 1st call)

MINIMUM 7 SPM AVAILABILITY INCLUDING CALL COVERAGE (averages 2-3 calls per week and required for day shifts being offered)

Saturday/Sunday 24-hour calls (preferred to offer when on call the same week)

ACTIVE KS License required

BC not required

CRED TIMEFRAME- 60-90 days from receipt of complete app including payer enrollment (done by MSO in conjunction with credentialing app) *Possible temp privs with complete file (eliminates meetings) During initial implementation; locums privs also available but only active for 120 days
*Payer Enrollment is handled by the MSO & must be completed in conjunction with credentialing app or the file will not be complete to go to meetings for privilege approval. If ped or neonatal privs requested must be able to supply case logs
**Priv requirements- 5 yrs malpractice; 10 yrs work history; vaccinations; 3 peer references; copies of diplomas/certifications; DEA; DL; CV; licenses

Case- health peds cases, no younger than age 4 usually 7+ (tonsil, ortho, minor broken bones, occasional appendectomy)

Trauma Center- No

Anesthetizing sites onsite 4 (3 ORS and 1 OB OR)
EMR Meditech
OR Documentation- Provation I-procedures
Case Volume- Inpatient 1138, outpatient 3179
OB Deliveries- 748, Epidurals 428, C-sections 178 Gyn- IP 97/OP: 312
General Surgery IP 422/OP:514
Ortho Gen.
General: IP:280/ OP: 365
-Joints: Hips IP 59
-Joints: Knees IP 81
-Joints: Shoulders IP 34

Peds- Healthy peds – no younger than age 4, usually 7+ - healthy (tonsil, ortho, minor broken bones, occasional appendectomy)

Other- Endo (Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP) in OR only: IP:151/ OP:1837; Plastics: IP: 14 and OP: 151

POS COVERAGE:
-7:00am - 3:00pm (M-F) - 4
-3:00pm - 7:00am (M-F) 1st Call (1 CRNA) and Backup Call (1 CRNA)
-Sat & Sun 7:00a-7:00a- 1st Call (1 CRNA) and Backup Call (1 CRNA)
