Setting: Rural hospital-based, independent CRNA solo practice

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced CRNA for a locum tenens assignment at a small rural hospital in Maine. This is a solo practice role with no call, no weekends, and a predictable weekday schedule. Ideal for providers comfortable practicing independently.

Practice Details
Coverage Model: Solo CRNA (1 provider/day)
Anesthesia Model: Independent practice

Case Mix:
Endoscopy (majority of cases)
General surgery
Orthopedics
Urology
Pediatrics
Procedures Required: Spinals, blocks, epidurals
Charting: Paper (transition to electronic system planned late 2026)

Schedule
Weekday daytime coverage only
No weeknight or weekend call

Compensation
Rate: $250/hour
Travel & Lodging: Covered

Requirements
Active CRNA license (Maine or ability to obtain)
ACLS & BLS
Comfortable with full-scope, independent CRNA practice
Prior endoscopy experience preferred

Credentialing
Estimated timeframe: 6–8 weeks
Temporary privileges may be available for qualified candidates
