Independent CRNA Needed in Coastal Maine

Job description

An independent CRNA locums opportunity is available in Bar Harbor, Maine, beginning October 5, 2026. This three-month assignment runs through January 4, 2027 and offers a regular Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

CRNAs practice independently while covering an adult-only case mix that includes General Surgery, Urology, Ophthalmology, Vascular, GYN and Orthopedics. Regional anesthesia experience is preferred.

Assignment details:
• Start: October 5, 2026
• Duration: Three months through January 4, 2027
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
• Practice model: Independent CRNA practice
• Call: Acute-care / trauma call required
• Patient population: Adults
• Volume: Approximately 18–20 cases daily across the department
• EMR: Cerner
• License: Maine licensing assistance available
• Credentialing: Approximately 30 days
• Travel: Included
• Malpractice: A+ rated coverage with tail included

This opportunity is best suited for an autonomous CRNA comfortable with full-scope adult anesthesia and after-hours acute-care coverage.
