CRNA Needed in Mount Pleasant, MI

Location: Mount Pleasant, MI

Start: March

13 week assignment

Site- Surgery Center
Support Staff: Normally two providers a day except for some Wednesday a Thursdays where they have three a day.
EMR- HST

Cases- very heavy Ortho, blocks required, eyes (blocks required), mixed Endo cases with MAC. ENT for peds (PALS certificate required) 75 min for the average case and 20 min for eye cases. Looks like this month they will have total joint ortho added.
Ped ENT- They have a very strong Ped ENT process and the surgeon is very conservative and does not rush. They don’t have an extra CRNA in PACU for those cases, but a lot of times the patient is already fully awake in the OR when they wheel out to PACU. She said he is very selective and they have a thorough PAT process for all cases including Peds (ie- won’t do on sleep apnea, no tonsils under 3, etc). She said they do maybe 1-2 ped cases on the Tuesday’s
Eyes- 98% of their eyes do not require or need full eye blocks and they are usually topical with light sedation.
Ortho/Total Shoulders- That surgeon starts in February on the 2 and 4th Tuesday of the month. Not sure of volume yet but they should be comfortable with that.

Cases start with one room at 7am and the other at 730am. They only had 49 cases wheel out of the OR past 4pm and usually it’s not super late days.
