Position Overview

Orientation: 3 paid days required
Contract length: Ongoing; initial term is 4 months
Must live 50+ miles from Abbott Northwestern to qualify
Minnesota is not a compact state

Supervised care‑team model
Scheduling Requirements
Minimum 2 weeks per month and 36 hours per week
Required: Two consecutive weeks per month for the first 3 months
Full‑time preferred
Shifts available: 8‑, 10‑, 12‑, and 16‑hour options
Typical schedules:
6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
6:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Call options (not required):
12‑hour beeper call on select Saturdays
8‑hour weeknight call
Occasional overnight shifts (weeknights/weekends) for interested providers
Clinical Environment
Level III tertiary hospital
Patient population: ages 12+
Care‑team model: 4:1 ratio
24‑hour anesthesia aide department for room turnover and supply support
EMR: Epic
Specialized care environment

Requirements
Active Minnesota RN license (MN Board of Nursing)
Active Minnesota CRNA license (MN Board of Nursing)
ACLS/BLS Tier 2 required upon hire
Minimum 1 year of experience
Must meet distance requirement (50+ miles)
Credentialing
Typical timeframe: 90–120 days
