Locum CRNA – Job Summary
Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Locums
Contract: Initial 4 months with potential for ongoing coverage
Schedule: 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts
Hours: Full-time preferred; minimum coverage may be 36 hours/week and 2 weeks/month
First 3 months: Two consecutive weeks of coverage each month required; every-other-week scheduling may be possible afterward.
Call: Optional weeknight and weekend call; occasional overnight shifts may be available.
Patient Population: Ages 12+
Model: Supervised care team model, approximately 4:1
EMR: Epic
Experience: Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience
Licensure: Active state RN and CRNA licenses required
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Procedures: CRNAs do not perform blocks, arterial lines, epidurals, or spinals.
Credentialing: Approximately 90–120 days
Orientation: 3 paid orientation shifts; orientation begins the second Monday of each month.
Pay Multipliers
Overtime: 1.5×
Holiday: 1.5×
Callback: 1.5× hourly rate
