Urgent CRNA Locums Assignment – Winona, MN

Job description

An acute care rural hospital in Winona, Minnesota, is seeking CRNAs for an urgent locums assignment. Providers must commit to at least one week per month.

Schedule:
Weekdays: 7 AM–3 PM, with optional 3 PM–7 AM call
Weekends: 24-hour coverage, 7 AM–7 AM
Weekend and holiday call typically occurs approximately 1 in 4
Call response time must be within 30 minutes

Clinical Responsibilities:
General anesthesia and nerve blocks
Orthopedics, total joints, sports medicine, and spine
General surgery, plastics, and podiatry
OB, including approximately 35–50 C-sections annually
Ophthalmology and neuraxial anesthesia
Light pediatric cases, including dental and laparoscopic procedures

Requirements:
NBCRNA certification
Active Minnesota license
DEA registration
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and neonatal resuscitation certifications
Minimum two years of experience
Nerve blocks, OB, general anesthesia, and spinal anesthesia required
Pediatric experience preferred; rural hospital experience strongly preferred

Facility Details:
Rural hospital with 49 beds
Four core ORs, dedicated endoscopy room, C-suite, and flex room
Da Vinci robot available
Approximately 12–20 cases daily
Independent CRNA-only model with no physician oversight
