About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide anesthesia services at an operating room facility under a supervision model with a 1 MD to 3 CRNA ratio across 31 anesthesia rooms. Case types include general and orthopedic procedures. Shift options are 8-hour (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), 10-hour (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), and 12-hour (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) schedules; 8- and 10-hour shifts are preferred, with 12-hour shifts available but not the primary expectation. Clinicians are expected to work the full duration of their assigned shift, excluding unpaid lunch, totaling 8, 10, or 12 hours of work accordingly. No in-house, weeknight, or weekend call is required; overtime is not expected but may be offered. Board certification or fellowship is required, and candidates who need to obtain a New York state license will be considered; the estimated privileging timeframe is 75 days.
