POSITION OVERVIEW

Assignment Length: Approximately 52 weeks
Target Rate: $250/hour
Temporary Privileges: Available, with an estimated 30–60 day timeframe
Estimated Full Privileging: Approximately 60 days

SCHEDULE
Shift: Day shift
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
Hours: Approximately 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
12-Hour Shifts: Not required
16-Hour Shifts: Not required
24-Hour Shifts: Not required
In-House Call: Not required
Weeknight Pager Call: Required
Weekend Pager Call: Required
Holiday Shift: Not required
Holiday Call: Not required
As-Needed Shifts: Not required
Overtime: Not expected, but may be offered when available

CLINICAL PRACTICE

The CRNA will provide anesthesia services across a variety of surgical cases, including:

General Surgery
Orthopedic Surgery
Obstetrics (OB)

ANESTHESIA MODEL
Hospital-based anesthesia practice
8 anesthesia rooms
Epic EMR
CRNAs work under physician supervision
MD-to-CRNA ratio: approximately 1:4
Anesthesiologists also perform their own cases

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The CRNA will be responsible for providing safe, high-quality anesthesia care throughout the perioperative process, including:

Performing comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments
Obtaining and/or verifying informed patient consent
Discussing anesthetic options, risks, and benefits with patients
Performing induction of anesthesia
Providing maintenance of anesthesia
Managing emergence from anesthesia
Continuously monitoring the patient's physiological condition
Performing appropriate clinical interventions as needed
Collaborating with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
Providing safe and effective anesthesia care throughout the patient's surgical experience

Travel support is available for qualified locum providers:

Rental Car / Mileage Stipend: $250 per week
Lodging / Housing Stipend
Malpractice coverage Provided
