ASSIGNMENT TYPE: Locum Tenens – Supplemental
TARGET RATE: $250/hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a 52-week supplemental assignment at a hospital in Olean, New York.

Candidates should have experience providing anesthesia services for General, Orthopedic, and Obstetric (OB) cases.

SCHEDULE

Shift Length: 8-hour shifts ONLY

Shift Start: 6:00 AM

Shift End: 4:30 PM (confirm actual shift duration)

Day shifts required.

No 10-, 12-, 16-, or 24-hour shifts.

Overtime not expected but may be offered.


CALL REQUIREMENTS

Weeknight pager call: Required

Weekend pager call: Required

In-house call: Not required.


COMPENSATION & TRAVEL

Target Rate: $250/hour

Car Rental/Mileage Stipend

Lodging/Housing Stipend


FACILITY DETAILS

8 anesthesia rooms

EMR: Epic

Physician supervision: Yes

MD-to-CRNA ratio: 1:4

Physicians also perform their own cases.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments.

Obtain and verify patient consent.

Discuss anesthesia options and associated risks with patients.

Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.

Monitor patients' physiological conditions.

Perform clinical interventions as needed.


REQUIREMENTS

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.

Current CRNA certification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Active New York state license required before submission.

Candidates needing to obtain a new state license will not be considered.


CREDENTIALING

Estimated privileging timeframe: 60 days.

Temporary privileges may be available within 30–60 days, subject to approval.

ASSIGNMENT DURATION: 52 weeks
