Locums CRNA Needed in North Carolina!

Job description

Specialty: CRNA (Outpatient)
Start Date: May 4th
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Shift Details: Day shift, no nights, no weekends
Schedule: Mon – Fri, Arrival: 06:45, Procedures start 0700-0730, Finish: End time varies (Some days finish earlier and some later. Typically, between 1400-1530. Off chance for a later time depending on the day)

Work Details:
• Support staff: **Will be working with a collaborative Physician** Each location 2-3 RNs and LPN as backup (1-2 MA in the room)
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 1FTE
• Patients per day: As high as 17-24 per day (Depending on physician)
• Patient population/age: Might see as young as 16 (rare) to 80yrs
• Department description: Office-Based / ASC: Gastroenterology & Non-Surgical Weight loss
o Fast paced setting
• EMR: gGastro (GMED)
• Hospital bed size: NA
• Special procedures: Gastroenterology procedures (EGD, Colonoscopy, etc.) Non Surgical Weight loss procedures requiring anesthesia, Gastric Sleeves
• Skills required: GI sedation as well as General Anesthesia experience
• Skills Preferred:
o Experience in GI or ambulatory anesthesia preferred.
o Office-based anesthesia or ASC environments

Practice Setting:
• Ambulatory Surgery Center
Requirements:
• Board Certification: NBCRNA certification required
• License required: NC- Licensed
• DEA: NA
• CSR:NA
• Certifications preferred:
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Minimum experience required: 2 -3 years

Credentialing Timeframe: ASAP 1 week or less
