Locum CRNA Opening in Kingston, NC | Surgery Center!

Job description

We are seeking an experienced CRNA for an outpatient locum opportunity in Kinston, NC. This is a fast-paced ambulatory setting focused on GI procedures and non-surgical weight loss cases with a collaborative physician team and no call requirements.

Position Highlights
Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center / Office-Based Practice
ASAP Start
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Will consider someone with 2 weeks per month availability
7am - 3:30pm
No nights
No weekends

Clinical Scope
Gastroenterology procedures including:
Colonoscopy
EGD
Non-surgical weight loss procedures requiring anesthesia
Gastric sleeve procedures
Fast-paced outpatient procedural environment

Requirements
NBCRNA certification required
Active North Carolina license required
Minimum 2–3 years of CRNA experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Experience with GI sedation and general anesthesia required

Preferred Experience
GI or ambulatory anesthesia experience
Office-based anesthesia or ASC environments
Comfortable in high-volume procedural settings

Support & Environment
Collaborative physician partnership model
Clinical support includes:
2–3 RNs and LPN support staff
1–2 MAs in procedure rooms
Patient population ranges from approximately age 16–80+
Patient volume: Approximately 17–24 patients per day depending on physician schedule
EMR: gGastro (GMED)

Additional Details
Coverage Needed: 1 FTE
Credentialing: ASAP — approximately 1 week or less
No hospital call responsibilities
