Position Overview:
A premier academic medical center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina is seeking a full-time CRNA for an ongoing 1099 assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center with exposure to a wide variety of cases across multiple specialties.

Assignment Highlights:
• Ongoing assignment
• Full-time coverage needed
• Mostly 10-hour shifts
• Flexible scheduling with shifts available any day of the week
• Work alongside experienced anesthesiologists and CRNAs
• Exposure to a diverse and challenging case mix

Important Scheduling Requirements:
• Cannot accept candidates requiring RTO in June or July
• Cannot accept candidates needing more than one Friday off per month
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work any day of the week as needed

Work Details:
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• Hospital Size: 989 beds
• Patient Population: All ages
• Support Staff: Anesthesiologists and CRNAs
• Department: Level I Trauma Center with high-acuity cases

Case Mix Includes:
• General Surgery
• GI
• Cardiac
• Neuro
• Burn Unit
• MRI
• Radiation Oncology
• Trauma and other complex cases

No OB or Pediatric cases.

Skills & Experience:
• Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center preferred
• Providers will be assigned based on skill set and procedural experience
• Flexible clinicians who enjoy variety and rotating among service lines are highly desired

Requirements:
• NBCRNA Certification Required
• Active North Carolina License Required (or willing to obtain via IMLC pathway)
• Must be able to practice independently within scope and experience

Credentialing:
• Approximately 45–60 days

Reference Requirements:
• References are preferred at presentation
• Facility requires at least two reference checks prior to extending an offer
