Advanced Practice (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
- Provide anesthesia services in a locum tenens capacity at a full-service medical facility in Portsmouth, OH
- Administer general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
- Perform epidural and regional anesthesia for a wide range of surgical cases
- Support obstetrical cases including labor epidurals and related anesthesia needs
- Provide anesthesia coverage for open heart and thoracic surgical cases
- Manage complex vascular and complex orthopedic surgical cases
- Handle neurosurgical anesthesia requirements as needed
- Perform and manage post-op epidurals and post-op extremity blocks
- Administer epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical regions
- Perform transforaminal procedures including lumbar and cervical approaches
- Utilize x-ray guidance in the performance of blocks
- Manage ventilation and evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues
- Place central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters
- Provide CRNA supervision as required
- Apply pain management techniques across a variety of patient cases
- Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS, and BLS
- Must hold an active Ohio license or IMLC to be considered
- Board certification required with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days

Compensation:
