Job description
CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETIST (CRNA) – PEDIATRIC
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a growing pediatric anesthesia team. This opportunity offers the chance to provide advanced anesthesia care to neonatal and pediatric patients in collaboration with pediatric anesthesiologists.
SCHEDULE
Monday–Friday
8 or 10-hour shifts
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
No call, weekends, or holidays
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement anesthesia care plans based on pre-operative assessments
- Provide anesthesia care throughout induction, maintenance, and emergence
- Care for neonatal and pediatric patients
- Collaborate with pediatric anesthesiologists and surgical teams
- Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care in a Level I Trauma Center
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Work alongside physicians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other OR staff
POSITION DETAILS
- Level I Trauma Center
- Approximately 13,000 OR cases annually
- Average of 1–15 surgical cases per day
- 11 operating rooms at the main campus, with additional ORs at satellite locations
- Medical imaging and IR coverage included
- Supervised by a Pediatric Anesthesiologist
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60–90 days
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited AANA-approved nurse anesthesia program
- Current NBCRNA certification
- AANA certification
- Active or eligible Ohio CRNA license
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
- NPDB Self Query Report required
**New graduates are welcome to apply**
- Pediatric and/or neonatal experience preferred
- Excellent communication, customer service, computer, and clinical skills
- Strong manual dexterity and physical/emotional stamina
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
1–3 years of neonatal and/or pediatric anesthesia experience preferred
Pediatric experience strongly encouraged
