Locum CRNA – Independent Vascular Anesthesia Practice in PA
Job description
We’re seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity at a vascular center. This position offers a high level of professional independence, as you’ll work without a supervising physician on site. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, with Saturday coverage available for those interested, and 8-hour workdays.
You’ll manage MAC sedation for interventional radiology (IR) cases across two anesthesia rooms — operating one room at a time. The environment is streamlined and efficient, featuring paper charting and a 1-month credentialing process.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting pre-anesthesia assessments and verifying patient consent
Discussing anesthetic plans and risks with patients
Managing induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring and maintaining patient safety throughout the procedure
Performing clinical interventions as needed
Requirements:
Active RN license
Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
Current certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
